Shinoj Alex writes
Last Kiss
My body lies here in front of you
death my friend always rhymed in life
for you every moment lived
not a second without
ignored, avoided
you went away
give me now
last kiss
love
This is a nonet. The first line has nine syllables, the second has eight, and so on until we get to the ninth and last line, which has one syllable.(Musically, it is a composition for nine instruments; it is also a group of nine computer data bits, a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum structure with nine peaks, or a set of mesons transforming as a nine-dimensional representation of a symmetry group that describes their physical properties.) Fittingly, there were nine Muses who presided over the arts and sciences.
