Dorin Popa writes

after  I  was  cured
I  found  out  how  ill  I  was,
after  I  did  not  love  you  anymore
the need of you
fell  devastatingly  upon  me

after  I  am  not  anymore
I  shall  indeed  grasp  everything

  1. An old pun has it that a mistress is "something between a mister and a mattress." A concubine is generally something between a wife and a mistress: it implies a long-term sexual relationship but with a lower status than spouse. Dorin's poem hints at the real but amorphous human nature of relationships.
