I.
Of things unfold
stories yet many untold
visions printed on templates unseen
awaiting the morrow
for tomorrow is a mystery
only the eye can tell.
II.
Across drizzling drops outpours
of infected defected rains
falling on spoilt rotten heads
flooded by maggots of thoughts
for tomorrow is a mystery
only the eye can tell.
III.
Of darkened thoughts shaking
by waves of many doubts
turning points of lingering hearts
at bus-stops seeking trace
for tomorrow is a mystery
only the eye can tell.
IV.
An ant race
walking on fruitless ripened rate
akimbo eye balls fixed on hangers broken
by shouts of the fallen walls
for tomorrow is a mystery
only the eye can tell.

Tony Tasset's "The Eye" is the first sculpture the Joule Hotel in Dallas installed in the sculpture garden across the street co-sponsored by the Nasher Sculpture Center. Working from a photo of his own eyeball, he created the 30-foot fiberglass sculpture in 2007as part of a temporary exhibition in Pritzker Park in the Loop in Chicago; it was moved to Dallas in 2013.
