"The Accumulation Of Nothingness"
I'm pushing
with all my might
these unstable
hands can't
drive away
the madness
In my
fractured
head
happy
thoughts
submit
To a hate
that O.J.
had for
Nicole
I will not
endure
this fucking
torture
Another Gmail
in the trash
the accumulation
of nothingness
What once had
a meaning
is now to be
discarded
All that's left
is an empty folder
The choice
was yours
foolish fuck
It's funny
how good
things can
turn into shit
and be flushed
away leaving
nothing but
a faint odor
Angry Man Holding his Head -- Paul Brown
People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson was a criminal trial held in Los Angeles, California, in 1995. Former National Football League running back "O. J." Simpson was tried for the brutal murders of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend. The "Los Angeles Times" covered the case on its front page for more than 300 days after the murders, and the national TV networks broadcast the trial every day. After nearly a year the jury unanimously acquitted him. However, in 1996 the families of the victims won a unanimous verdict against him in a civil lawsuit charging him with their wrongful deaths. In 2018 an unaired 2006 interview with Judith Regan was broadcast; intended to promote a book he had written ("If I Did It") which was suppressed before publication, Simpson began talking hypothetically about how the killings might have occurred but eventually spoke in the 1st person without modal verbs. it was regarded by many as a virtual confession.
