Far Past the Expiration Date

She lived in a state of dilapidated luxury.

Both coffee and cigarettes had yellowed her teeth.
She didn’t have the innocent puppy dog eyes any more.

Her wrinkles revealed her age but she was still beautiful.
Yet she has rarely smiled for the past ten years.

Although she felt far more dead than alive.
No matter how good the drugs were her children were still gone.

She could only forget for brief moments and always felt numb.

Her house was nice but it was in all reality only a tomb.
He has painted beautiful portraits of women throughout the dilapidated interior of the art-nouveau theatre, which screen films from 1922 through to 1952
