Hilary D Zamora writes and shoots

The sprawling expanse of this destitute desert was as massive as the night sky. Tumbleweeds bounced by in front of us as if they had a mind of their own. It felt like death had splashed its darkness all over me. It felt like agonizing pain. My new life cast a silhouette that no one else could see. It shrouded my thoughts as it pet me; an invisible hand that doled out endless strokes. There was such a darkness here and I didn't know how to cope with it. ~Hilary D Zamora
