Panjami Anand writes

Above Tempers

How many scrolls are there
Some I haven’t read even
Yet you write to me every day.

Life’s ebb and flows

Influences me to wax and wane
Lost in the face of ecstasy
Even those you give me…

And you my man
Are above all that
For they never come in the way ever
To express love to me.
That gesture is the fixed star
The lump in my throat
And the happy teary gleam in my eye

This is perhaps how you
Wish to be loved back
May I rise above tempers
Love you the same way.

 Scrolls and ink...

Panjami Anand writes

Forever

Our promises whispered in secret
Celebrates itself in me
Through vacant stares into the distance
A sigh at the sight of beautiful dusk,
A lonely moment of palpitation
Or as sorrow in my eye
On a happy, happy day

It was no naïve promise
We made in the dark
To love one another forever
So if autumn blows away
The last dry love leaf
I will still love you
In anguish or in admiration
Through reverberations in my being
