The end of the rickety Ogene dance
Did not hinder your trance
From beclouding me
In a stance.

She that builds veins
In my soul
She that turns echoes
To known words.
She mesmerizes,
She heals,
She voices,
She corrects.
Her poe-tree drops
Fragrant fruits
That gives man the right to write
And to feel alright.
Her tree is for the strong hearted
Who bears sharp pain
In order to pluck the golden apple.
It is she that comforts Haiti
To be strong hearted.
She stops war and depression
But she gives love and attention.
Poe-tree gives imaginative fruits
And allows man to wallow in the silence
Of our orange thoughts.
Poe-tree blesses man with silence
And kills man with a critic's sword.

NIGHT

Depth of the heart
Oblivious to the heart
Assoils out of the soul
And we can’t buy roll.

Indeed it’s long
It’s not a song
Vacillating from the underworld
We all exist in this world.
NIGHT! NIGHT LIFE!

The sun aerosolizes,
The moon sometimes aerosolizes
Put your foot on the wrong stone,
There is no cloud, not even one.

Helter skelter mothers run,
Carrying babies while they run
Pandemonium breaking loose
And their wrappers also loose
NIGHT! NIGHT LIFE!

Always on the road,
Despite the load
The night is for sleep,
But the ladies never sleep.

Swinging their buttocks unclad
Waiting for men to devour them unclad.
Sleep
It’s a night for sleep
Even ordained by God,
He never sleeps nor slumbers, he is God.
NIGHT! NIGHT LIFE

I SAW GOD

Fertile futility frolics the world
Like a frenzy of fashion corpse.
And in this trance,
I saw God,
He saw me too.

A hazy stench beclouded my brain,
Making my vision clearer.
And in this trance,
I saw God,
He saw me too.

I saw an heavenly host
All clothed in white without cost
Singing melodious hymns
And alleluia subsumed the arena.
A good-looking being emerged
With so much finesse,
He said to me,
"Dream as if you would live forever, and
Live as if you will die today."

I woke with sublimity
Pacifying myself for better days.

I saw him,
I saw God,
I have seen God.
