Till Distance do us part

You speak the same language as Distance,
The Language of ache and that of hunger
I lay here forgotten, forsaken
Shivering in the wake of my Past, wallowing in sweet Slumber.

Love consumes me like the burning flame of a candle,
I grieve in your Longing, my desire too agonizing to be handled
Your separation inflamed my wound, Love,
Deserted my Heart and left it in shambles.

Distance! Distance! You wretched Conception,
Stop gorging on me and devouring my anticipation
Just as a child stands in need of its mother in times of blooming and Maturation
I pine for your intimacy, your Love and adoration.

Have you seen the Moon in her full glory?
Glistering in the darkness; maddening her haters and admirers apart…
She tunes from the vault of Heaven, the ebb and flow of the Tides;
You orchestrate from the middle of nowhere, the strings of my broken Heart.

Such is my sorrow, such is my misery, for,
The Moon, being so distant, shines on her admirers, proving her steadfastness
And you, Dearest, neither steal a fleeting glance at me,
Nor ease the bearing of my life; it seems distantly ajar.

Silence

Silence is Golden;
It truly is
for the people who can fathom
the Unspoken, the Unsaid.

Silence is the Virtue
Of people god-fearing,
For the Devil lets loose tongues
of the Cunning and the Unnerving.

In times of Wrath and Injustice,
When the Evil wreaks havoc,
Seek Patience and Perseverance
And wait for Justice round the clock.

The World is an illusion,
The inhabitants misleading
So what difference does it make
In dissembling and deceiving?

Words of Wisdom, Words of Lore
aid Mankind in survival galore
When still Ungodliness expands to Horror,
replace good Silence with a thumping roar.

Silence is Noble,
Ah! As noble as Faith
Silence is Treacherous,
Alas! Enwrapped in hapless Swathe.

O’ chatterer! Stop your un-mindful chatter
Seek guidance from the Mind and let go of the clatter;
Forget not what shall remain past Mankind’s shatter
Silence –- the solitary Truth shall matter.

Analogy of Self

I am as still as Water…
Granted that “still waters run deep”,
I am purported to be stagnating.
Bitterness it is of my Life indeed.

What happens to the magnificent Water?
Whence a pebble in it is thrown
The pebble produces creases and ripples
The Water makes it Unseeable, Unknown.

There’s not a soul to fathom the Depth..
None to devotedly love the crashing waves;
Yet, the waves love intensely its Object of devotion
Verily, returning to the seashore instead.

I avow to be a piece of Water,
As true-blue as it is known to be
Trailing one Path, bringing culture to flesh and blood;
O’ what peace it gives to be on the Loose; At Liberty.
