A Slow Dance with Heartbreak

Her sirens song makes me sail into the rocks.
She’s a ghost now and a sweet yet distant nightmare.
Our love died a little more every single day.

For two and a half years she made me happy in hell,
and for eight months she’s been killing me.

That face is burned into my eyes and I see it everywhere.

Stuck Out In The Doghouse

There are some days that this pup simply can’t bark anymore.
He just lies down completely unconcerned with any and all life.

All of the growls and insipid barking from his mouth was only bullshit.

He was kicked and beaten down by many different people.
And he was abandoned a few times as well.

Yet deep down all he wants is only warmth and affection.

For hatred was just simply not in his nature.

Yet he became fearful of the world and almost everything in it.
No face ever seemed innocent and he always expected to feel more pain.

And like everybody else...
He dreamt about growing into a wolf and finding his own old bitch someday.

Even though he didn’t believe for a second that he deserved it.

Tidy and Neat Divorce

Heartbroken women whisper out false hopes and empty promises.
They aren’t lying to you they just simply don’t know just who they really are.
They become so twisted that you just can't help them anymore.

Whenever you realize that your hope is dead and buried in the gutter,
You'll just sit alone for hours in your stagnant pigsty quietly sobbing.
Then you ponder all the time about every single little if or how.

The guilt stabs deep into your gut like an old rusty dagger.

That girl you once knew is now erased from all of existence.
No matter how much you bleed there is simply no way to ever get her back.
