David Norris writes

SUMMER POEMS

Tough man

In the summertime
I sported a tan
Naked as a baby’s ass
Snow white from the waist
On down her splendor my
Tongue tasted the salt

Clean Sheets

My mind is an open
window, and you are
the soothing breeze
on a hot summer night.

My body is a cool river
glistening in the moonlight.

My toes wiggle for you.

  1. In this deliciously sensuous pair of poems, Dave manages to invoke the wonder of summer, moonlight, the breeze, a suntan, snow, and a river, as well as various anatomical features. Mmmmmmmmmmm-mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
