Heather Jephcott writes

They Can Be Weighty

We carry them and their weight
whether we like it or not
They disappear or enlarge
as we breastfeed and age.
We're not totally in control
although some do try
enlarging, or reducing
for self or for others.

They can stick out or drop
and can be a pain to keep up
but it's expected that we'll dress them
confusing the males
having little idea of augmentation
although others keep them hidden
under sloppy big tops.

To honour these beauties
what should we do?
Confuse, by enlarging
confuse, by hiding?
Who is responsible
to treat with respect?
Where is modesty's call
and what would it say?
