In The Moment Poem
"Write me something off the top of your head," she
said as we sat there watching the sunset over the water.
I reached for a comp book I kept in the car for no good reason besides the fact I couldn't remember a damn thing anymore.
I wrote on the page ripped it out and handed it to her.
Katherine looked down at the paper once and in bold letters read.
Something.
She shook her head looking at me.
"You're such a smart ass."
