Peycho Kanev writes

There are a few things
that I’ll remember forever and
even beyond:
a girl who

wakes me up with her head
deep between my thighs
and afterwards we drink coffee in silence;
the iron door of an old house
banging in the wind, in my childhood,

not giving me
a chance to sneak inside,
and the painter in front of the white canvas,
preparing to paint all of this,
but somehow, I always beat him to it.

La Douler (The Pain) - Pablo Picasso
