Adachi Zenko founded the Adachi Bijutsukan (Adachi Museum of Art) in 1980 in Yasugi, near Matsue, Japan . It is best known for its award-winning garden, which has annually been named the best in Japan since 2003 by the "Journal of Japanese Gardening." It can be seen only from the museum building and shows a different character depending on the season.
