James Lee Jobe writes

The moon tugs at the ocean from above,
and the earth tugs from below.
The ocean rides a see-saw! We all do.
Up and down the cold waves splash,
while the planet spins, and the solar system spins,
and the universe expands out in all directions.
All of this at once. On a sandy beach,
I cup some salt water in my hands, and give thanks.
Life is large, and I am small,
and that which I call God is far beyond my comprehension.
