Arlene Corwin writes

Remarkable Man: Kent Anderson

A loving man; God loving man;
Does what he can
For woman, cat- bird- and mankind.
A kind, all kinds of kind:
Kind of a soft, discreet and tactful mind:
One of a special kind.
He never whines about his pains,
Is out each day, come shine or rain,
Finding projects to complete,
To start.
He’s smart.

Pianist first-class, growing fast with every pass,
Repertoire increasing year by year,
He loves his jazz.
Subtle, tasteful, gardener-cum-architect
Drawing, painting, full of wit.
A complex blend of mind and spirit –
Lucky he or she who knows him.
SO,
We celebrate along with him
Years eighty: handsome, fit and trim.
May he live eight decades more.
With such a store of talent
There is so much more in store.
for Kent, of course
