Little Town
I walk along the streets of the town,
Which I once loved.
Today, I am an indifferent stranger.
I barely recognize it.
There are no more old, hospitable aunts.
No more nosy neighbors hidden behind
curtains,
Or brave men with war stories.
They are gone.
Time changed everything,
Not only the people, houses, streets and trees.
It seems to me that it even
Repainted the shade of the sky
