Night Scorpions
Night scorpions
Rule sidewalks
And dark corners.
Pinchers are ever ready
to grasp their prey.
A curled tail strikes
With vigor -
Stunning victims
And rendering them helpless.
Night scorpions appear
In my dreams for awhile,
Suddenly a light appears
And the night scorpions retreat.
