HE AIN’T A POETRY
MACHINE, HE’S JUST NOT VERY GOOD
I follow one of
them on twitter,
A damn social
media, mainstream published
Poet who last week
was writing so damn much.
Twenty tweets a
day he’d post whilst i
Could barely raise
the enthusiasm to do anymore
Than 3 and all of
mine were about punk
And madness and a
little of my writing but
Every single one
of his said,
And i’m obviously
paraphrasing here,
‘Don’t come near
me i’m a poem machine
At the moment.’ he
then claimed he’d
Written two that
day, well this is
Already my third
of the hour so now
You know why i
despise them.
