You are
You are the first rays of the sun
That come like light from God
To dissipate the darkness
Hanging around lazily.
A million thoughts tussle in my mind
With the ticking of time, in elemental wonder.
I Think about my heart-felt desires
While my eyes look at the frosted windows,
Circumspect and diffident.
Taking all strife in your stride,
You pull me from the labyrinth of illusion
And whisper in my soft ears,
I will make the holes of your flute,
I will repair the strings of your harp
And do everything possible
So that your stars of luck never fade.
I smile in delight delirious
Like sparkling wine in crystal glass.
My pent-up feelings get rearranged.
They shine in myriad colors.
I pour out my heart in his arms.
Smilingly, he touches my beautifully arched
eyebrows
And I breathe the fresh air around
Scented with fresh jasmines.
