Two fingers were found in Ojcow cave in Poland. Scientists determined that they were from a hominid (they were too deteriorated to perform DNA tests on, but they were found in association with stone tools typically used by Neanderthals), that the hominid was between 5-7 years old, and that they had passed through the digestive system of a large bird, perhaps an eagle.
