Amita Sarjit Ahluwalia writes

THAT IS THE WONDER

How does one Heart bear ๐Ÿso much love, so much fear? ๐ŸThat is the Wonder! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ
How can the Beloved be, ๐Ÿƒso far, and yet so near? ๐ŸThat is the Wonder!

How can any one land be, ๐Ÿ‚violent yet full of beauty?๐Ÿ‚
What we hate is what is dear! ๐ŸThat is the Wonder!๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

Mists and cloud ๐Ÿ‚the mountains shroud ๐Ÿ‚hanging so heavily
Then sun shines and all is clear! ๐ŸThat is the Wonder!๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

Saffron blooms, Fruit trees blossom, ๐Ÿ‚On Earth’s old bosom๐Ÿ‚
Nature proclaims Spring is here! ๐ŸThat is the Wonder๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

Curtains of pollution fall ๐Ÿ‚you can see the Pir Panjal๐Ÿ‚
Air’s now transparent and sheer! ๐ŸThat is the Wonder!๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

Hope rises Joy wakes ๐Ÿ‚even after Heart Breaks ๐Ÿ‚
‘ Anjum ‘ shines in Heaven’s sphere! ๐ŸThat is the Wonder!๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

  1. The Pir Panjal is a group of mountains in the Inner Himalayan region, running from east-southeast to west-northwest across the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, and the Pakistani-administered territory of Azad Kashmir. It is the largest range of th Lesser Himalyas. In Kashmiri, they are known as the Pir Pantsal and were known as the Panchaladeva (the god of Panchala) in the 12th century Kashmiri historian Kalhana's metrical chronology "Rajatarangin."
Anjum means "stars" and is a common name for boys and girls.
