Cabin in the Woods
The night takes a walk inside
the silence of the fog.
Outside in the snow there are
tracks that remember oblivion,
but no sounds at all,
only darkening shadows behind
the snowcapped trees.
Who am I?
I look into the darkness
and see nothing.
I call out my name to the void
and only the silence is hooted back.
