William H. Drummond writes

The World is Full of Magic

From my window sings a sparrow
And the sparrow chickies cheep
Yesterday and then tomorrow
Soon they’ll take that daring leap
And the springtime, it amazes me
The babies and the green
And the world is full of magic
Most of which I’ve never seen

As a child my parents told me
Of the faeries and the elves
Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny
And the magic in ourselves
But a fuller understanding
Came when I was just a teen
That the world is full of magic
Most of which I’ve never seen

Now I’m older but no wiser
And my heart is growing young
I’m a magic advertiser
On that peg my fate is hung
I am pledging all my future
To the lovely Faerie Queen
I know the world is full of magic
Most of which I’ve never seen
