In the early 1920s he set up the Disney Brothers Studio and 1n 1928 developed the character Mickey Mouse, his first highly popular success. As the studio grew more prosperous he became more adventurous, introducing synchronized sound, full-color 3-strip Technicolor, feature-length cartoons as well as technical developments in cameras; features such as "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937), "Pinocchio," "Fantasia" (both 1940), "Dumbo" (1941), and "Bambi" (1942), furthered the development of animated film. After World War II he began producing live-action films as well. To fund his construction of the Disneyland theme park he diversified into television programs in the 1950s. In 1965, he began developing another theme park, Disney World, the heart of which was to be a new type of futuristic city, the "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow" (EPCOT), but he died before the project could be completed.<br />DuanesPoeTreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17053093400086634552noreply@blogger.com
